Membership Types

Competition License · $275



· Grants access/gate entry to all MRA race events.
· Grants access to certain spectator-restricted areas (i.e. HPR hot pit lane, hot pit wall, race surface, etc.) at all MRA race events.
· Allows voting rights on MRA Board of Directors' positions.
· Required to participate in MRA race events.

Qualifications:

  • New Racers
    • Within the last 12 months, a new racer must have successfully completed at least one of the following qualifications in order to be approved for licensure:
      • The MRA New Racers’ School.
      • Any recognized race school (recognized = any of the organizations listed in section 10.11. “RACING EXPERIENCE and OTHER ACCEPTED LICENSE CREDENTIALS” of the MRA Rulebook).
      • 2 SuperStreet events (without crashing).
  • Existing Racers
    • Novice and Amateur Racers
      • Must be able to provide proof of having competed in a race event within the last 12 months. Inability to do so will require they take take the MRA New Racer School.
    • Expert Racers
      • Must be able to provide proof of having competed in a race event within the last 36 months. Inability to do so will require they take take the MRA New Racer School.

ALL MRA competition license holders are required to have a valid AMA membership. Click the button below to renew or join the AMA.

Associate Membership · $75



· Grants access/gate entry to all MRA race events.
· Grants access to certain spectator-restricted areas (i.e. HPR hot pit lane, hot pit wall, etc.) at all MRA race events.
· Allows voting rights on MRA Board of Directors' positions.

Pit Crew Pass · $55 or 2 for $85



· Grants access/gate entry to all MRA race events.

· Required to access certain spectator-restricted areas (i.e. HPR hot pit lane, hot pit wall, etc.) as a non-licensed MRA member, at all MRA race events.

Pit Crew Pass will bear the name of a licensed MRA racer (or parent/guardian if racer is a minor). The licensed racer to whom the Pit Crew Pass is assigned to will bear responsibility for the actions of the crew member during the race event(s) that the Pit Crew Pass is held by such crew member.


 

Membership Checklist (Buy a Membership)

Use this quick checklist to ensure you correctly renew, or create your MRA membership. If you have any issues with your license or membership, you can find answers and post questions in the discussion forum, or ask the MRA Vice President.

  1. As an AMA sanctioned club, all MRA racers are required to have a valid AMA membership. Click button below to renew or join.
     
  2. Login to .. 
  3. If you have an account there, log into it, otherwise select “Create Free Account
  4. Search for MRA events:
  5. You should see a “Membership & Licensing” option – select it, and follow the instructions documented there, including paying!
  6. Then go to My Account and
    1. Add a profile photo (we want to see you!)
    2. Enter your transponder number by putting your bike in the garage and adding your transponder number
    3. Enter or update your medical information including your health insurance contact info.
